Welcome to One Tired Educator, a space dedicated to supporting and empowering teachers to become highly effective educators. My name is Toya, and as an Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach, I know firsthand the challenges educators face daily—from handling behavior issues and fulfilling teachers' diverse needs to managing a myriad of administrative tasks that pull us away from our primary mission: teaching.
My passion for this work comes from seeing the transformational impact that effective teaching has on students. I began my journey with the vision of changing the world one student at a time, and now, as an administrator, I strive to extend that impact by helping one teacher at a time become a master teacher. I believe that when educators are equipped with the right tools, strategies, and support, they can inspire their students and create meaningful, lasting change.
